This is a mental training workout your kids will love. This exercise is especially useful for improving the sense of smell and touch in kids. It can be played in a group as well as individually.
Collect different materials like chalk, jute cloth, some eatables, food items like sugar/ pulses/ grains in different bowls. Then ask the kids to close their eyes and sit in a circle. Pass a bowl to each kid and let him find out what is kept in it using his sense of smell and taste. This way their brain works better and also develops recognition skills.
